Oh dear goodness....where's my life gone?

I don't know what to do! I feel like I have no purpose or aim anymore...
This isn't a usual summer...usually I'm glad to get away and spend time with my friends...that's all good...but this year, 'cause I've realised my life is gonna completely change, my days seem filled with "what am i gonna do?" and pointless activities that waste time.
So so far I've filled my time with work, MAST, NBCT shop, crocheting, bracelet making, car boot sales, clearouts, and sunbathing (#gettingburnt).

But what good is all that?
Ok so fair enough, work means money, money means clothes/lunches out/generally not starving on holiday and all, so that's ok...plus the Dolphin's just awesome to be frank. Like, really...plus, we got a new coffee machine, and it's the most beautiful coffee I've tasted my whole life....
But after that, i dunno what to save for...I seem to be drifting through this summer so far with no real aim...maybe I'll aim to save for a car...yeah...moving on...
MAST is grand, that has a worthwhile aim.
NBCT shop is good, charity work, helpful etc. problem is though, that I don't get paid (that's not my point, i do it anyways cause I want to.) but I spend more money than I make...I mean, when I'm in, Elizabeth Graham (the awesome lady I usually work with) and I either get Port o' Call, Country Fried (btw, their wrap at the chip counter? BEAUT), Mauds or a Dolphin...fair enough again, as we need to eat, but still, pretty expensive over the week...and then comes the point where I begin to organise some of the stuff...and instead of organising it or putting it away, I put it in a separate pile...the "that's Aime's" pile. THIS BREAKS THE BANK. I have a holiday in 12 days...self catering...I DON'T WANNA STARVE yet I buy charity shop material, jewellery, clothes and a yellow teapot!??!!?? I mean...WHATTHEDEUCE???
Anyways, this is the stuff I bought this week...haha

Yeah so, the jewellery...i saw the orange bracelet, and was like "hmm...i never do orange" so figured, why not? lol and i got 2 pairs of earrings...can't really see them too well here. Just got a  plain, short dangly pair cause they're quite modest, and the other pair are all red and green inside? studs, i dunno...haven't worn them yet...need to soak them in bleach first :)
more jewellery now...(by the way, my pics are horrible)

Ok so before you judge me on this eye sore...notice my expression. Haha I hate it. Why buy it you ask? To add to clothing ;) haha see thisss....

Perfect shape for a shouldr embellishment thingy! Now I just need to make the clothes to put it on...haha
Anyways, away from the jewellery side of things...I got myself a pair of parachute pants...haha

LOL I feel thick for taking photo's, but it just shows how huge they are! size 16 i think? All the better though, means I have more to work with. Anyways, these are to become a lovely cropped pair of pedalpushers :) I will update when I get them finished, if i ever get round to it...i still have a big dress lying in my wardrobe to be chopped up to a playsuit...haha BUT, i'll get round to it soon, the sewing machine is scheduled to come out tomorrow :D
Anyways, that's only this weeks buys, plus 2 tops and some leggings. haha you should see the reems of stuff i've bought in there over the last couple of months....seriously wild.
Also, you'll probably think i'm really cheap for shopping in charity shops, but sometimes it's better. It doesn't bother me...as stingy as it may seem lol e.g. Thursday, i bought a top, originally from topshop. The same top that i was going to buy in topshop about 3 months ago for £15.00. BIG difference there. lol
Anyways, moving on to crocheting! MY NEW FOUND HOBBY! (i've never really had a hobby before...) Ok so, the last tuesday in May, there was a group for the lovely old ladies of MAST, and I decided I'd take a dander down, and learn a new skill... so lifted my crochet needle (was good auld Norma's originally), and headed to Mary's for some wool...this, is what I decided on...

I LOVE IT haha, i didn't like the yellowy gold colour at the start but, now that I hav most of it all crocheted, it looks pretty cool. It might look really rainbow like on your screens, but it's not a normal coloured rainbow, it's a magenta colour through violet, indigo and teal to the goldy yellow.  rather than ROYGBP whatever order lol. So yeah, it looks like this as of now.

I know it's a bit dark for summer, but it's not my summer project...my summer project is my Queen's award piece, which is a sculpture...i'll probably do a blog on it when i start...and a patchwork quilt. :D in teal colours, as thats what my rooms gonna be. White and teal, with polkadots somewhere i hope. haha :)
So, at this point, i wish to make you feel better by seeing a horribly unflattering picture of me in a boyish shirt, shorts showing leg fat and looking like a granny holding her knitting (crocheting) and yapping at my mother...here we go.

Attractive eh? Many thanks to da Ian for taking this...really appreciate it. though, it was to draw attention to my mother, wearing my slippers...haha her feet were burning...lol
Yeah about the bracelet making thing...i had beads, bought hundreds off the internet, to make bracelets. And I'm only getting to it now. though to be fair they're nice, it's just a bit pointless...unless i sell them at the next car boot sale.
(yes that led me on nicely) so car boot sales. We went on saturday past, after hokin'  through my room and dumping basically everything i don't wear enough. In a desperate bid to make a quick buck, i sold a jacket, worth 65quid, for a fiver, a jumpsuit worth 50quid, for £3...and now, i'm rather depressed. Though, it was more than I was getting with them in my wardrobe so i'll cope. All in all mum and I made £101.66. Not bad i thought :) Though we split it evens, 50 each and a bit. Even though about 6/8 of the stuff was mine....haha still...it's a great place to make money. I'm going back this saturday...get a few more queenies :) Also, great place for a bargain or two :)
I bought this...

Saved me the bother of making one myself...which was the plan haha AND, oh my goodness...does anyone have a record player? I friggin' love records, and badly need a player. Found so many i have to buy...seriously. Car boot sales rock!!!

Anyways, i'm bored, tired, confused about what my point to this was and hungry. So I'm gonna go make some food while you read this horribly crap post.

Smell ye later
