Hello again blog! It's been a while!

The last time I was here I wrote a stupid post to try and get Tom de Long to call Greg. How silly of me lol
Well now i'm here because of college.
I've been told to make a blog to note my progress for my design assignment! Woohoo! I'm loving it!lol
Maybe cause it's so easy to do? Once I got the blogger app I realised i just have to take a picture of something that inspires me,upload it and hey presto! Another uninteresting post to any readers but a little window into my inspired mind. Deep eh?
So luckily for you (whoever you are) you will not have to pick up my crappy constabt updates on this as I have set up a separate blog.
Problem is though,i created it for a volcanic theme,so the name now totally clashes with my new theme, which is "English Tea Party" lol
Oh well, anyways for anyone thats interested, i've jst spent the rest if my time (before this post) moving to Belfast, and going to uni. Got a new job in French Village (Botanic) and as of tomorrow night I have left the Dolphin :( anyways, the rest of my life is boring but i still love it,Family,Greg and friends :)
bleugh i'm bored now,and i'm sure you are too. Bye :)
Xxxxx
P.s. If anyone does (dementedly) wanna follow my design blog it's called elementalinspiration at the minute, though im working on changing it lol
Bye x

Tom, read on :)

Hello :)
So this is the master plan:

My boyfriend, Gregory, is in the merchant navy, he's training as a cadet at the minute has has been working a crazy amount lately. He missed Christmas, New Year, and will be missing his 21st birthday aswell.

So this is the point...
His birthday is on Monday the 27th February (Today), and it's gonna be really crap. Instead of enjoying his 21st with his family and friends he'll be stuck on a boat with a crew that don't speak English, eating food that came from a box saying "not for human consumption, for animal and seafarers only" Yummy lol

So being the little star that I am (bahahaha!) I'm trying to get in contact with you to see if you could do something for his birthday? He really looks up to you, and has great respect for your work on boomer loves boobies etc and ofcourse really loves your music; Blink, angels and airwaves and  boxcar racer too!(so much so that I know all the words without realising lol) so I was wondering if you would be able to call him or something? Surprise him :) Maybe even send an email? Anything Just to say "Hi Greg, this is Tom. Happy 21st".

I know you're busy but I know he'd love it and I was just hoping you'd be able to make his birthday a little bit better?
And don't panic about him stalking you or whatever after, he's not a creep, he's very laid back so it'd maybe seem like he doesn't even care!lol but i know he'd love it.And he'd love me for sorting it! haha

So if you do decide to help out,
My number is:
07510357504
this is my facebook link:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1035794611
and his
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1370824885
and my email is:
aimeej1993@hotmail.co.uk
His email is;
gglennymy@hotmail.co.uk

I don't really wanna post his number on the web but a phonecall would be better than anything, if you can contact me then can I give you his number if you're willing to call him?
I really hope you do decide to help, even though I know you're busy it would really mean a lot, he really is gonna have a crap birthday so this would make it MILES better.

I just hope he doesn't read my blog!

Thanks so much for reading! (if you do)
Aimee xx

Oh dear goodness....where's my life gone?

I don't know what to do! I feel like I have no purpose or aim anymore...
This isn't a usual summer...usually I'm glad to get away and spend time with my friends...that's all good...but this year, 'cause I've realised my life is gonna completely change, my days seem filled with "what am i gonna do?" and pointless activities that waste time.
So so far I've filled my time with work, MAST, NBCT shop, crocheting, bracelet making, car boot sales, clearouts, and sunbathing (#gettingburnt).

But what good is all that?
Ok so fair enough, work means money, money means clothes/lunches out/generally not starving on holiday and all, so that's ok...plus the Dolphin's just awesome to be frank. Like, really...plus, we got a new coffee machine, and it's the most beautiful coffee I've tasted my whole life....
But after that, i dunno what to save for...I seem to be drifting through this summer so far with no real aim...maybe I'll aim to save for a car...yeah...moving on...
MAST is grand, that has a worthwhile aim.
NBCT shop is good, charity work, helpful etc. problem is though, that I don't get paid (that's not my point, i do it anyways cause I want to.) but I spend more money than I make...I mean, when I'm in, Elizabeth Graham (the awesome lady I usually work with) and I either get Port o' Call, Country Fried (btw, their wrap at the chip counter? BEAUT), Mauds or a Dolphin...fair enough again, as we need to eat, but still, pretty expensive over the week...and then comes the point where I begin to organise some of the stuff...and instead of organising it or putting it away, I put it in a separate pile...the "that's Aime's" pile. THIS BREAKS THE BANK. I have a holiday in 12 days...self catering...I DON'T WANNA STARVE yet I buy charity shop material, jewellery, clothes and a yellow teapot!??!!?? I mean...WHATTHEDEUCE???
Anyways, this is the stuff I bought this week...haha

Yeah so, the jewellery...i saw the orange bracelet, and was like "hmm...i never do orange" so figured, why not? lol and i got 2 pairs of earrings...can't really see them too well here. Just got a  plain, short dangly pair cause they're quite modest, and the other pair are all red and green inside? studs, i dunno...haven't worn them yet...need to soak them in bleach first :)
more jewellery now...(by the way, my pics are horrible)

Ok so before you judge me on this eye sore...notice my expression. Haha I hate it. Why buy it you ask? To add to clothing ;) haha see thisss....

Perfect shape for a shouldr embellishment thingy! Now I just need to make the clothes to put it on...haha
Anyways, away from the jewellery side of things...I got myself a pair of parachute pants...haha

LOL I feel thick for taking photo's, but it just shows how huge they are! size 16 i think? All the better though, means I have more to work with. Anyways, these are to become a lovely cropped pair of pedalpushers :) I will update when I get them finished, if i ever get round to it...i still have a big dress lying in my wardrobe to be chopped up to a playsuit...haha BUT, i'll get round to it soon, the sewing machine is scheduled to come out tomorrow :D
Anyways, that's only this weeks buys, plus 2 tops and some leggings. haha you should see the reems of stuff i've bought in there over the last couple of months....seriously wild.
Also, you'll probably think i'm really cheap for shopping in charity shops, but sometimes it's better. It doesn't bother me...as stingy as it may seem lol e.g. Thursday, i bought a top, originally from topshop. The same top that i was going to buy in topshop about 3 months ago for £15.00. BIG difference there. lol
Anyways, moving on to crocheting! MY NEW FOUND HOBBY! (i've never really had a hobby before...) Ok so, the last tuesday in May, there was a group for the lovely old ladies of MAST, and I decided I'd take a dander down, and learn a new skill... so lifted my crochet needle (was good auld Norma's originally), and headed to Mary's for some wool...this, is what I decided on...

I LOVE IT haha, i didn't like the yellowy gold colour at the start but, now that I hav most of it all crocheted, it looks pretty cool. It might look really rainbow like on your screens, but it's not a normal coloured rainbow, it's a magenta colour through violet, indigo and teal to the goldy yellow.  rather than ROYGBP whatever order lol. So yeah, it looks like this as of now.

I know it's a bit dark for summer, but it's not my summer project...my summer project is my Queen's award piece, which is a sculpture...i'll probably do a blog on it when i start...and a patchwork quilt. :D in teal colours, as thats what my rooms gonna be. White and teal, with polkadots somewhere i hope. haha :)
So, at this point, i wish to make you feel better by seeing a horribly unflattering picture of me in a boyish shirt, shorts showing leg fat and looking like a granny holding her knitting (crocheting) and yapping at my mother...here we go.

Attractive eh? Many thanks to da Ian for taking this...really appreciate it. though, it was to draw attention to my mother, wearing my slippers...haha her feet were burning...lol
Yeah about the bracelet making thing...i had beads, bought hundreds off the internet, to make bracelets. And I'm only getting to it now. though to be fair they're nice, it's just a bit pointless...unless i sell them at the next car boot sale.
(yes that led me on nicely) so car boot sales. We went on saturday past, after hokin'  through my room and dumping basically everything i don't wear enough. In a desperate bid to make a quick buck, i sold a jacket, worth 65quid, for a fiver, a jumpsuit worth 50quid, for £3...and now, i'm rather depressed. Though, it was more than I was getting with them in my wardrobe so i'll cope. All in all mum and I made £101.66. Not bad i thought :) Though we split it evens, 50 each and a bit. Even though about 6/8 of the stuff was mine....haha still...it's a great place to make money. I'm going back this saturday...get a few more queenies :) Also, great place for a bargain or two :)
I bought this...

Saved me the bother of making one myself...which was the plan haha AND, oh my goodness...does anyone have a record player? I friggin' love records, and badly need a player. Found so many i have to buy...seriously. Car boot sales rock!!!

Anyways, i'm bored, tired, confused about what my point to this was and hungry. So I'm gonna go make some food while you read this horribly crap post.

Smell ye later

My future in Belfast (this is partly for Jules, I was gonna comment on your blog but was gonna do this too...so saved the bother. haha)

I'm for MET, hopefully.

Laura and I are looking for a house, at the minute we have decided to move in together, and Hannah will join us if she can't get her placement in a vet's for Greenmount, and Rachel might join us if she decides to go to MET afterall.

However, I've been told not to strike them out 'till the last minute, Rachel won't know until August, and Hannah won't know for a month or so...I think.
So if they don't work out, I possibly have 2 backups, but at that point we'll be going crazy looking for 2 roomies that have probably made arrangements already...

ANYWAYS, the reason I'm getting a house is cause I can't get halls, MET doesn't have them...plus I don't recon I'd want halls anyway;

I stayed for a night there, in Carlisle.

It was horrific.

The people were nice and all...but they are disgustingly dirty...not boys either. Girls. All girls.

Like, Rachel and I looked at each other, when we arrived (and our welcoming party had left) and said in sync, "this has put me off uni".

We couldn't sleep thinking of the mess...we actually cleaned the kitchen.
We arrived at 10:30pm, were shown aroud by Stevie (who I love! she's class!), got sorted for bed etc, which took us to about 12am...

At that point we had to clean...just the thought of the kitchen was preventing our sleep.
Not good when you have an audition/interview the next morning...anyways...

YES. We cleaned...and when I say "cleaned", I don't just mean  wiping dishes...

I mean, SCRUBBING;
dishes
counters
the bin
and especially the microwave...it took about half an hour alone.
EUGH

So...bad experience on that part...BUT, when it was clean, we felt so much better!
And there was only one girl in their halls that was a bitch... They all got on well, which is strange 'cause I don't recon I'd like to be thrown in with someone I don't know...still.
We got on well with them too actually, they were all really kind, and helpful for our audition (the majority of them did a musical theatre course in Carlisle), so at the same time, if I was eligable for halls, I would like it if I got people like them...

Anyways, enough arguing with myself....

This is my house. I WILL get this house.
http://www.daft.com/searchrental.daft?id=1047071

Ok, so look at the pics...
The whole house, especially the interior, is perfect!

I mean, I can see myself living here. If I was to design my own apartment, it would be this.
The contrast with old and new.

OOH I LOVE IT

So if anything or anyone prevents me from getting this house. They WILL be annihilated.

Seriously. I am in love.

PLUS, I know it looks dear at £900.00pcm, but it isn't as dearas it seems.

It's a 4 bedroom house, meaning between 4, it will cost £2,700.00 per annum (a year),

Meaning that it will only cost me £56.80 a week. Not so dear now eh? Considering Queens' crap halls are like 85 quid a week. :)

So add £15-£20 for leccy and heat, and thats £70ish.

That's cheaper than most places to rent at home. (which is what I was for doing if I didn't go to study somewhere.)

Anyway, if my calculations are correct, which they're probably not, but assuming I get the loans and grants I think I'm eligable for, I can live on £86.60 a week. Minus the £15-£20 for leccy and that's still £60ish to live on.

I can do that...infact I'm rather excied 'cause it all seems to be working out ;)

The house is only a km away form Queens too, meaning that Laura can catch her bus to J/town easily.

However it is 4km away from the Titanic Quarter, where all of my chosen courses are. (I haven't decided on one yet...but I will come back to those in a min)

Also, Hannah's classes are all in TQ too...posing the problem of getting there...
But i suppose there are buses, and student bus passes, so not too much expense I hope.

Anyways...

My courses;

Fashion Management, leading on to a year in J/town. My reason for choosing this? It has been my life long dream to design and manage a clothing line, nothing big but I'm aiming to possibly owning a bridal shop, and offering wedding planning also, hence the reason I've also chosen.....>>>

Events Management, because I love organising events, and although I'm totally unorganised and late with everything I do in school, this is because I'm usually focused on something else. I can organise myself and achieve targets when it's not to do with school work.

I've also chosen

Hospitality and Tourism Management

and
Travel and Tourism Management

Because I quite fancy myself as a hotel manageress...plus both courses also offer events management within them, plus the extra stuff.

And finally, my backup courses:
Administration (business professional) because it would just be a useful backup course to have.
AND
Dental nursing LOL Yes I know it's random...but  it seems rather attractive for some reason. Also...good pay, KERCHING haha

Anyways, the first 4 are my definite favourites...obviously just to achieve what I want.
And I recon it's pretty obvious that I don't know what the flippers I'm for doing 2bh, so I decided to go for courses that require skills that I am capable of, and (without sounding bigheaded) good at. Because I know I am good at organising events, so I'm gonna base my future on this skill that I've been blessed with.

Although, you never know. God could turn my world up-side-down and throw me into law. haha
Or call rapture tomorrow? meh...lol

I dunno why, but myf uture doesn't bother me. I think it's cause I know there's a plan set out for me...and my life is under God's control

So yeah, that's me. Live in Belf for a year (possibly 3 if I do fashion management), attend MET, live off my loan/grant and achieve some sort of dream. :)

P.s. Jules, I don't think this has helped you at all coming to think of it...maybe the part where halls sucks? lol
Get a house! I'm wanting one so I can have house parties. That's the only reason.lol joke :)

Either way, good luck in you search. Everyone :) I hope you can get sorted :)

Also...I'm just realising that Jules mightn't even follow my blog...I shall check now...

No she doesn't lol I shall let her know on facebook...haha

P.p.s. Steal my house and I will  KILL you.

:)

My new business

Ok so I know it may sound stupid, but Becka and I have decided to start a wee business for facepainting.

Yes yes, i know "who would want that?"

But we've painted at loads of public events before, and have even begun working at kids partied. 3 in total...so why not? A wee bit of extra pocket money, for no extra cost (except the paints).

I've created a blog for the business where people can see our work, and see our event history...just haven't started it properly yet...lol

anyways, this is our blog link...

This is real

This one song, brings me to the verge of tears very time I hear it, and even more so when I sing it. Isn't it awesome to know that thanks to God's love, we can be saved and be accepted into his family, forever free fom sin, pain, sorrow, failing flesh, and darkness? Perfect song for Easter.
Thankyou Lord.

There's a peace I've come to know,
Though my heart and flesh may fail.
There's an anchor for my soul,
I can say "It is well".

Jesus has overcome,
And the grave is overwhelmed.
The Victory is won
He is risen from the dead,

so

I will rise when He calls my name.
No more sorrow. No more pain.
I will rise on eagles wings,
before my God fall on my knees and rise
I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near, when this darkness breaks to light,
and the shadows disappear and my faith shall be my eyes.

Jesus has overcome,
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

I will rise when He calls my name.
No more sorrow. No more pain.
I will rise on eagles wings
before my God, fall on my knees and rise
I will rise

And I'll hear voice of many angels sing
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And i'll hear the cry of every longing heart
"Worthy is the Lamb"

I will rise, when He calls my name.
No more sorrow. No more pain.
I will rise on eagles wings,
before my God, fall on my knees and rise.
I will rise.

Hello again blog, wanna hear my plans??

Life is good. I think.
I'm still behind in my work, but I've figured what I wanna do.
Because I dunno what exactly's going on in my head, I've decided not to go to uni, cause I don't want to. Not this year anyways...
Yes, this is stupid, because all that fee-crap is coming in, but I don't care. If I'm gonna go to uni, I'm gonna do something I'm sure I wanna do, and to be honest, I haven't got that at the minute.

My choices are (In order, even though there are really only 2 now...):
Abertay-Criminology
Edinburgh Napier-Criminology
Carlisle-Musical Theatre & Technical Theatre
UU-Criminology
UWS-Criminology

The only reason I applied for criminology is becauseI wanna join the PSNI, and 'cause they're not recruiting for 2 years, I decided to spend that time earning a degree to help me into it. BUT, then I realised  don't need a degree to get into the police, and it'lljust be wasting my time...so I'm gonna apply anyway when I'm 18, (which is actually today haha) and see how it goes.

The reason I applied for musical theatre is because I'm now on my grade 8 musical theatre exam, meaning that I must be atleast decent at it?
PLus I enjoy it, and my interview was successful, and the course sounds class, and I LOVE Carlisle...so quite a list there.
BUT
Even though I'm positive that I would thoroughly enjoy Musical theatre, it has no ralistic career aspects. Basically my life would be travelling to all the show-central-cities (London, New York etc.) trying to scrounge a job while living in a cardboard box. PLastic box if I'm doing well. But atleast I'd be making good use of the counselling skills (that are tought in the musical heatre course) to get over my costant rejection.
BUT. I could maybe cut a break if I'm lucky and/or good enough?
OR, I do the TOTALLY unrealistic but perfet thing;
I buy/rent the Town Hall (Yes, that's right, Kilkeel Cinema), and I do it up and using it as a stage school. Hire dancers, have acting classes, singing lessons, hold shows; muscals, sheakespeare productions, dance recitals etc.Which is a real dream to be honest (maybe not the ideal location, but possible none-the-less)...but if I'm realistic, it'll probably never happen. And if it ever does, I'd have to win the lottery first, cause it would cost a hell of a lot. PLUS, people might not even wanna bother going?

ANYWAYS, a few months back, young Oglee said to me "you should go to uni to do events management, cause you're really good at oganising stuff"...and I thought..."HA"
But then I began to think about it, and I've organised loads of stuff,
And I facepaint at kids parties? (Good pay too! haha).
I enjoy it too, which is wierd, cause I never enjoy anything that's good for me...lol like school, everyone thinks I'm thick, which will be reinforced when I don't bother with uni probably, I know I'll be stereotyped, but I'm not as thinck as everyone thinks. Yeah I don't do well...but I don't bother. When I try, I do do (lol) well.
I just don't have a school focused mind, however gimme a task and I'm on like Wobbles on the drink. Hence the reason that I am seriouly thinking of heading do BelfMET to do a foundation course in Events Management. 30 weeks long. Not bad eh?? :)
So instead of taking the gap year that I was considering, (even though it's "stupid" to pass over the financial benefit I have this year), I will possibly/hopefully live in/travel to Belfast and attend MET and become an events manager.
It could do no harm to try it. Could it?

I dunno...someone reply please and tell me what you think.
P.s. sorry I babbled on...bored myself a little.
